Changing lives, one beat at a time.
Fundraising to change the lives of those who we can. Providing life-saving surgeries for children in various developing countries born with congenital heart defects
What makes us special?
Heart4Heart is a student-run nonprofit organization.
The entirety of our profit goes to our pattern organization, Gift of Life International, which facilitates the crucial surgical procedures that grant life to needy children.
We operate based on fundraising for one specific child at a time assigned to us by the gift of Life International. Therefore, every dollar raised is directly used to provide surgery through Gift of Life International’s surgical mission to save one child at a time
The Children
Meet Kevon! He is one of the kids we are fundraising for! Kevon is an enthusiastic young boy who loves football. Unfortunately, his heart condition limits his physical ability to play sports. He has a condition called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), which is a combination of 4 congenital heart defects affecting infants and children. Kevon also has a second heart defect known as Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), which is a persistent opening between 2 major blood vessels leading from the heart. Untreated, these conditions can weaken the heart muscle and cause heart failure and other complications. Kevon and his mom look forward to having his heart healed so he can feel healthy for the first time in his life. Please help support his cause by donating to fund his surgeries!
Meet Nathan! He is one of the kids we are fundraising for! Nathan loves music, playing with siblings and playing with toys! He has a condition AVSD. Septal defects are holes in the wall of the heart that separate the left and right sides. Nathan’s mom hopes that Nathan can be healed and feel better! Please help support his cause by donating to fund his surgeries!
A total contribution of $24, 800 CAD has been made on campus in the past year. With the assistance of many students, staff, and faculty members, we helped save 18 little hearts.
Your gift and support will make a significant difference and can change someone’s life
